Urgent Security Announcement (Aug 8th, 2024) – Seif

We regret to inform you of a critical security breach affecting Seif wallet versions v1.1.0 to v1.1.5. This is a SEVERE issue requiring immediate action.

What Happened:

Users who imported private keys in versions v1.1.0 to v1.1.5 are affected.

These private keys have been exposed due to a flaw in our data collection process.

Approximately 50 wallets have been compromised so far.

Immediate Actions Required:

CHECK if your wallet is affected: Check the list below to verify your wallet address.

If affected, IMMEDIATELY transfer all assets to a new, secure wallet.

DISCARD the compromised private keys.

If not affected, there is no issue with your wallet so you can continue using Seif with confidence.

The vulnerability was patched in version v1.1.6, released on July 26.
