How do I migrate my Passkey-based Wallet?
For those who created a wallet with Passkey
This guide is only for those who have created a wallet with the Passkey.
With the update of v1.1.0, Seif no longer supports the Passkey technology and hence, existing users who were using Seif with Passkey need to convert their Passkey to a Password.
Follow the step-by-step guide:
- Click on the
Login with Passkeybutton and choose the Passkey you want to use for extracting the Private Key.
- At the bottom of the Notice, click the
Show Private Keybutton. Continue with the Passkey login process.
- Copy the Private Key to your clipboard, then click the

- Click on the
Import a walletbutton to bring in the wallet created with your Passkey.
- Set a password and click the
Set Passwordbutton.
- Paste the copied Private Key into the input box, and click
Confirm
- Going forward, you can use the password to access the wallet created with the Passkey by clicking the Seif icon
